just hooked up the cp802 to my new txsr703 receiver....unbelievable sound quality...this dvd/cd plays everything...great product

It plays anything you throw at it and changes discs quickly and quietly.

I use a region-free player for all my video, so I have this dedicated to audio. And it is fantastic.

I purchased the Onkyo DV-CP802 After reading online reviews and i must say I am glad I did. Very good 7.1 multichannel for DVD- AUDIO and SACD That extra back channel really ads something over my more expensive Yamaha Dvd CX1 which only plays dvd-audio

I would highly reccomend this product to anyone who needs a great player
 

Better than expected

I have to say that i was leary about a changer but since the sp800 was no longer available and the sp500 not having the 7.1 multich outputs this was my only option. I am happy to report that I was not justfied in my concern. This unit is very solid. The changer works well and, compared to a single disc universal sacd player 2910 from another company that i tried in house for about 10 days before taking it back, this thing is lightning fast. Dvd layer change is smooth as that type of thing goes, sacd multichannel playback w/7.1 is fantastic. I have renewed my joy of music with this machine. As things go nowadays it is refreshing to get more than you expect from time to time. Thanks Onkyo

Plays the full gambit. I was really interested in DVD and SACD audio and this changer really fits the bill. Plus it looks really good too.

Component-Grade Feature Set including 12-bit Video DAC's (not 10 like it says on the spec sheet) and outstanding clarity with the SACD / DVD-A capabilities. Oh, and if you're not sold on the specs for this killer rig, 6 disk changer is a convenience you don't realize you need...once you have it, you won't want to give it up!

I've only had this player for a couple of days, but so far I am impressed with its ability to play all the disks I've fed into it. This includes DVDs, DVD-R, SuperAudioCDs, DVD-Audio, and standard CDs
